An abundance of a type of melanin called eumelanin gives people black or brown hair. Many other pigments called pheomelanin give people red hair. 85% of the American population has black hair, 11% has brown hair, 2% has blonde hair, and 1% has red hair.
LIMITING ORGANIC HAIR COLOR
You cannot use it to change from dark brown to light blonde. In fact, the effect is sometimes barely noticeable.
Color Me Organic uses only natural plant pigments, so chemical dyes have no power. Does not dye hair darker than the product color.

Find Your Color with Radico
The best choice for your natural hair color depends on two factors:
(1) How much gray you have covered and
(2) What is your original hair color?
The botanical ingredients in Color Me Organic are gentle herbs that do not bleach or alter your hair color (as chemical dyes do) but combine with the hair shaft to shade, highlight or color. The more gray you have in your hair, the darker you should choose.
Higher ratios of opaque pigments will help you cover and color in your gray. On the other hand, your original hair color will affect the appearance of the natural color you choose to apply. In general, choosing a color from the spectrum that is close to your natural color produces the best results. But every person is unique and the best way to find the right one for you is to experiment with natural colors. With herbal pigments, no two people will have exactly the same results.
Unlike traditional chemical hair dyes or "natural" hair dyes that contain fixatives and chemical stabilizers, Radico's Color Me Organic color is achieved only through natural processes. The color darkens within 24 hours to a few days after application.
